»WE make talent work« – A new office design for WESTHOUSE
We were commissioned to redesign some offices for Westhouse Consulting GmbH and Westhouse Engineering GmbH based in Garching near Munich. In the briefing for the new office design, the company philosophy "WE make talent work" already played an essential role. Especially the significance of the logo inspired us during the brainstorming for the modernization of the new common and meeting rooms.
Further approaches to the design development, we have found in the name of the company - the combination "WEST" in the meaning of pioneering spirit, vision, dynamism, development of the future, and "HOUSE" associated with security, home, reliability and stability.
Our design for the enterprise architecture emerged from this wording.

Individually designed furniture in a warm wooden look, paired with green accents, create a fresh and natural atmosphere. The selective use of plants completes the interior concept and at the same time creates a modern, inviting room climate. The attributes of the company are reflected in the architecture and emphasized by the specific use of materials: metal and concrete. In the context of the color scheme in blue and white, we strengthen the corporate identity of our client and give the orchestrated rooms a modern look.
The individual rooms were designed and interpreted by our interior designers according to the client's DNA. All spaces are deliberately kept very clean and illustrate the character of Westhouse. As designers for spatial orchestration and corporate interior design, it was important to us to take away the formerly austere appearance of the large conference room. We achieved this by using different chair variations around the long table composed of ten individual trapezoidal tables, which can also be positioned individually. A variety of lamps in different shapes, colors and sizes distracts from the standard grid ceiling and loosens up the environment.
The new kitchen, as well as the reception and lounge area, also help to generate a pleasant working atmosphere. With the newly designed furniture, we also create retreat opportunities where employees can leave their regular seats and work creatively.
The project is a complete success and we were once again able to follow our design approach, translate a good brand experience in space and make it a positive experience.
