The Eichenried Golf Club, also known as the Home of the BMW International Open, is located just outside Munich. Golfersworld GmbH is a partner of the renowned golf course. The wish of Patrick Wolferstätter, CCO of Golfersworld, was to create a 360deg world-of-experience around the topic of golf for the members. The focus on the part of Golfersworld was to strengthen the community of the Eichenried "Golfer Family" and to develop an openly accessible "space for encounters" by offering the highest level of competence in all aspects of golf through competent advice, the best service and an extraordinary furnishing concept.

Design concept & corporate identity for Pro Shop & Manufacture
Not only was the interior, which measures approx. 140 sqm, fundamentally redesigned and renovated, but also a new glass façade all around is part of the extraordinary spatial concept – when open, the room-high sliding elements visually unite the outside area with the new Pro Shop, thus creating a maximum of spaciousness and the gesture of "being welcome". As the first point of contact in the room, and thus also the heart of the front area, we designed a five-meter long counter made of decorative exposed concrete and glass. This serves not only as an service desk for all golfing related matters, but also as a full-fledged work area for the employees in the Pro Shop.
Clear, reduced lines define the shop elements made of white powder-coated steel. The custom-made shop system was exclusively attached to the back wall and therefore appears very light. Integrated digital signage monitors can be used to display various brand-specific content and thus underline the current collection in the new Pro Shop.
Slightly withdrawn, positioned in the rear part of the shop area, there is a lounge area with a spectacularly backlit "Wall of Champions". On a size of approx. 13 sqm, the special view of the world-famous and among golfers highly appreciated golf course St.Andrews in Scotland is shown. In front of it, members can view their most valuable pieces on the subject of golf in a museum behind glass. The lounge invites you to linger and enjoy a cappuccino while you hold a meeting or watch current golfing events on the 65-inch monitor.
In order to divide the open space, we chose different coordinated floor coverings, which support the use of the respective area and ensure a clearly recognizable zoning. The very high quality and innovative materials that we used for the floor, the ceiling and interior will meet the requirements of the demanding clientele of the Eichenried Golf Course. The modern, clear look is the result of a harmonious combination of exposed concrete, matt white painted steel elements and the use of modern lighting technology. Furniture individually made for the concept reflects the values of the Golfersworld brand – Feel it!
A highlight of the room concept is the golf club manufacture; through a foldable glass facade, the club fitters, whose customers are represented far beyond the national borders, can be watched live while practicing their special craft. An individually designed, six-metre-long, laboratory-like workbench, divided into four zones to define work steps and equipped with special machines, is the focal point of the modern clubfitter manufactory. In order to be able to hold training courses or workshops, a large work cabinet not only serves as a workplace and storage space for high-quality shafts, but its doors also serve as a projection screen. The complete Pro Shop can also be used as an event location for events thanks to the interactively controllable light installation and the high-quality sound system.
