"Your life will go well" – Fresh-up for BÄR in Hamburg

 

We developed a new retail design for our client BÄR, which we presented for the first time with the opening of the first store in Hamburg. In the further rollout of the concept, a spatial 'fresh-up' was created in Munich, followed by another store in Düsseldorf and another new opening on Berlin's famous Ku'damm.

The shoes follow the shape of the foot and strengthen the entire body - based on this philosophy we derived our idea for the new design and developed premises that on the one hand continue the corporate identity of the company and on the other hand complement it positively. In addition to the 'fresh-ups' and new stores, another 9 branches across Germany are currently receiving a 'facelift' in the form of coordinated design elements for the store windows as well as for the interior of the stores. Brand experience all along the line for our client BÄR. Founded in 1982, BÄR GmbH combines the idea of uncompromising toe freedom with a back-friendly zero heel and top-quality craftsmanship. Today, the family business is run by sons Christof and Sebastian Bär, who are also determined to further develop the brand through innovative design.

 

The shoe chain opened its own store in the heart of Hamburg with a total size of 70sqm. BRANDINSPACE was responsible for the new retail design and the realization on site.

"Your life will run well" is the core message of the BÄR brand - we took this message as a basis to sharpen and further develop the appearance in the stores.
 However, customer expectations go beyond this; quality and comfort must also be implemented in terms of space and design when shopping for shoes in BÄR stores. For this reason, there are many seating options to comfortably try on the preferred model. The materials and areas chosen also reflect this idea: wood paneling at the checkout, as well as the back wall of the lounge; warm wood laminate on the floor; real birch logs as partitions in the lounge and accents in yellow and green. All of these elements give the store a contemporary, cozy look that the BÄR family also wanted.

 
 
 
 
... the contemporary concept creation for store buildings that can be implemented in series convinced us. Through the creative sparring sessions we were able to work out the brand presentation in detail.
